This video was captured from the front of the subject at a distance of 2 meters; the subject is revolving in an office chair and the camera is stationary.
The camera is shooting at a speed of 20 frames per second (20 Hertz). In order to decrease the polygon count per frame, a simple chroma key was used to isolate the subject from the background.
The recorded RGB video projected onto 3D geometry is on the left, and a corresponding high-resolution geometry mesh, shaded in OpenGL, is on the right.
We are able to passively capture 3D geometry for skin, hair, eyes, teeth, clothing, and anything else that is in frame, with no special preparation of the subject. same time.
